Again Due to Corona Virus, Causing the Street Fighter V Tournament to be Canceled!
There have been many cases that have caused an event to stop because of this Corona virus. One example is the Street Fighter V Tournament. As reported by the Capcom Fighters Twitter account.
They informed that several Capcom Pro Tour tournaments from Street Fighter V games such as Brussels Challenge, Norcal Regionals, and April Annihilation will be eliminated this year. Previously scheduled for March 20-22 in Belgium, Norcal Regionals and April Annihilation were slated for April 10-12 in San Jose, New Jersey.
The good news is that the Capcom Pro Tour 2021 will continue and is planned to resume starting in mid-April with the 2021 The Mixup tournament being held in Lyon, France. This cancellation is Capcom’s policy in order to avoid something unwanted from happening and also most importantly for the safety and security of fans, staff, and players.
