Black Myth: Wu Kong, a game that tells the story of a powerful monkey
Black Myth: Wu Kong is a new action-adventure game made by studo game from China called Game Science. For those of you who have played or seen the gameplay of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice or Mortal Shell which was recently released, more or less the gameplay presented will be similar to the two games above.
As the mobile gaming market reaches saturation point, Chinese companies now want to compete in the premium gaming class with a new generation title under the AAA informal industry classification, usually pronounced triple-A. This time the new game is Black Myth: Wukong created by the Hangzhou-based Game Science studio.
Black Myth: Wu Kong takes the story from the classic tale of the Monkey King on his way to the west. Within one day of being uploaded, the 13-minute gameplay video received 10 million views on Chinese video site Bilibili and nearly 2 million views on YouTube.
Although the Game Science developers have yet to announce a release date, hopefully the game will support English and will also appear on the next generation of consoles.
