Digimon Survive Delays Its Release Schedule in 2021
A Japanese gaming news site, Ryokuta, recently revealed that Digimon Survive, an RPG game in progress from Bandai Namco and Witch Craft, had to be postponed. Originally slated for release this year, the delay left information without specifying an anticipated release date.
Bandai Namco hasn’t officially commented on the postponement or even revealed it, so wait for official confirmation before you can believe it. However, if this is true, then the game is facing a complete overhaul somewhat reminiscent of what happened with Metroid Prime 4 (which Nintendo accidentally overhauled from Bandai Namco, the publisher allegedly behind the delay Survive’s Digimon).
This delay has not fully proven that they will release in the future. It’s possible that the delay just fixes a few things in the game and doesn’t take up that much time. So, who knows they will release it at the end of 2021.
Digimon Survive First announced in 2021, the game will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Due to the delay, they haven’t made it clear whether the game will also be available for the upcoming “PlayStation 5” platform.
