The Indonesia e-Sport Association (IESPA) is an official institution belonging to Indonesia under the umbrella of Indonesian e-Sport athletes. At the time of the match IESF World Championship 2021, DOTA Team 2, representatives of Indonesia Mix Elite, in the ongoing Southeast Asia qualifying round, were reportedly stated Walkout. The main cause is the unstable internet network, so the players in the team immediately look for an alternative internet cafe, which is closest to their area.

IESPA was first established on April 1, 2013 by Eddy Lim, Richard Permana, and also Terry. Eddy as the general chairman of IESPA also confirmed the incident, his party explained:

“Being constrained by the Internet, when I play, the internet is not good enough. Recently, all internet networks are unstable. Just when one person is playing, the connection suddenly becomes bad. And at that time, this player immediately tried to find the nearest internet cafe. It’s just that there is a time limit, the player has passed the specified time limit. ” He said

It’s just that, when asked about the rules of the game during matches, IESPA explained that it does not require athletes to gather together in one place, apart from during an epidemic, this is also because gamers are more comfortable playing using their own gaming equipment and PC gaming. Even so, the IESPA also provides a place to practice and compete.

The Indonesian representative team is expected to be able to play four times, with a predetermined format, namely, the round robin fest of one series. That way the players must be able to collect as many winning points as possible. Indonesia will fight five teams from the Philippines, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand in an all-out manner.
