Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 Starts Airing in Japan January 23, 2021
After experiencing a delay in release, finally the fourth movie Rebuild of Evangelion already has a broadcast date. Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon a Time, the fourth and final film in the Rebuild of Evangelion series, will hit Japanese theaters on January 23, 2021.
The film was originally scheduled to air on June 27 this year, but was postponed due to COVID-19. The January 23 release date was revealed through a new trailer for the film.
As for building hype for 3.0 + 1.0, the previous three films will be screened in December.
Recently, the Evangelion franchise celebrated its 25th anniversary. GKIDS will release the original series on Blu-ray in North America next year.
