DelightWorks as the developer of the game Fate / Grand Order or commonly abbreviated as FGO, has just provided a financial report for this game. According to these data, the FGO game has experienced a decline in revenue since the end of July 2021. This game has decreased revenue by 81% when compared to the previous year.

The fiscal year that ended in July 2021 yesterday only managed to record DelightWorks with a profit of around 1.3 billion yen or around Rp. 177 million, while the same period in July 2021 managed to touch 6.9 billion yen or around Rp. 941 million.

The Covid-19 pandemic was cited as the reason for this decline, because in July 2021, the Japanese government decided for its citizens to self-isolate. Therefore, in the Fate / Grand Order game there are only re-run events, farming quests, the old rate up summer event and the 1800th Anniversary celebration.

However, the FGO community denies this. According to him, this decline occurred due to the limited content of this game for at least the last one year. The lack of events and content in this game keeps players from shopping for this gacha game. So far, DelightWorks has not spoken about the downturn.
