Manga Shadows House gets an anime adaptation

Aniplex announced a television anime adaptation of Soumatou’s manga Shadows House on Friday. The sixth volume, which was released on the same day, also contained the announcement on the cover. A teaser visual for the anime will be revealed in Weekly Young Jump’s 48th issue on October 29th. This information is also announced through the account Twitter Soumatou.

Soumato is a mangaka and writer duo consisting of Hisshi and Nori. Hisshi plays the mangaka and Nori as the writer or background designer.

Here is a synopsis of the Shadows House manga itself:

A faceless shadow nobleman lives in a luxurious mansion, which is occupied by living dolls who spend their time cleaning the endless filth of their mysterious master.

Follow the story of Emilyko, a young and cheerful living doll, where she learns to do her job as a servant from Kate Shadow-sama.

Soumatou began drawing the supernatural slice of life manga in Weekly Young Jump in September 2021. Tonari no Young Jump and Yanjan! simultaneously creating a colored version. Shueisha published the fifth volume on June 19. In addition, this manga was also published in South Korea.
