New OVA for Fate / Grand Order Announced
“Fate Project New Year’s Eve TV Special 2021” finally aired on the last night of 2021. And there, they revealed that Fate / Grand Order is preparing a new OVA series. Later this OVA will come in “two seasons” and the title is Fate / Grand Carnival. They even released a new video announcing this OVA project.
Each new “season” will last approximately 30 minutes. They will be releasing it on Blu-ray or DVD format, with “Season 1” due out on June 2nd. “Season Two” will follow on August 25, 2021. Seiji Kishi, who leads the anime project Carnival Phantasm, will direct the project as well, with Lerche being entrusted with producing the animation.
Rie Takahashi, Minami Tanaka, Rumi Okubo, Aoi Yuuki, Nao Touyama, Ayane Sakura, Saori Hayami, Ayako Kawasumi, Kana Ueda, Sakura Tange, and Mai Kadowaki are also reprising their roles from the game and anime Fate / Grand Order. Each of the seiyuu will also appear on the new OP song “Super Affection” as the characters they play in Fate.
