Resident Evil 3 Remake been out in less than a week. Reported on the official website, that Resident Evil 3 Remake has sold more than 2 million copies in 5 days.

The sales of that amount are split 50/50 between the physical and digital copies. This shouldn’t be too surprising, as digital games are slowly taking over digital stores, such as the PlayStation Store. In addition, Capcom is also attracting more PC gamers nowadays, now they are also prioritizing their sales to digital stores such as Steam, Epic Store, and others.

This happened several months after the announcement, that the remake version of Resident Evil 2 2019 is selling better than the original. Now, Resident Evil 2 Remake was at 6.5 million copies in sales. In addition, the entire Resident Evil series has now sold 95 million copies.
