Saiyuki Reload: Zeroin Get Anime Adaptation!

Kazuya Minekura’s manga series “Saiyuki” is getting its latest anime adaptation again. Announced by Frontier Work on Sunday, January 10, 2021 yesterday, with the title Saiyuki Reload: Zeroin, later the anime will adapt the story line “Even a Worm“From the manga Saiyuki Reload. Along with the announcement a video promotion has also been released.

Saiyuki is adapting a classic story from China, namely Journey to the West, which we know better as the story of Sun Go Kong.

The previous Saiyuki manga series has successfully received an anime adaptation to the story its spin off. The three previous anime series were entitled Saiyuki Reload, Saiyuki Gunlock, and Saiyuki Reload Blast, meanwhile its spin off title Saiyuki Gaiden and Saiyuki Ibun. The manga itself was published by Kazuya Minekura which was serialized in G-Fantasy from 1997 to 2002. The sequel manga Saiyuki Reload Blast was launched at Comic Zero Sum Ichijinsha in 2009, but Minekura was on hiatus due to his health, so the publication of the manga was delayed.

Kazuya Minekura through twitter revealed that the manga is in print with more than 25 million copies worldwide. As well as deep his tweets posted the first visual image for his latest anime adaptation.

Studio LIDEN FILMS will be involved in the production of the anime. As well as some of the names of seiyuu who will play in this series, namely:

• Toshihiko Seki as Genjo Sanzo
• Soichiro Hoshi as Son Goku
• Hiroaki Hirata as Sha Gojyo
• Akira Ishida as Cho Hakkai

Synopsis

Saiyuki tells the story of 4 demon hunter groups who travel from west to east. His real mission was to prevent the awakening of Ox-Demon-King Gyumao.

On each of their trips, they always get into trouble with demons who intend to destroy human civilization and destroy villages.
