If you haven’t had enough shows with the isekai genre in your life, good news because recently announced a new anime adaptation titled Shinka no Mi ~ Shiranai Uchi ni Kamchigumi Jinsei ~ (The Fruit of Evolution – My Unexpected Life as a Winner). This series is adapting the fantasy genre light novel series written by Miku and illustrated by Umiko. The official Monster Bunko Twitter account announced plans for the series to take another world leap into a TV anime.

Published in Japan by Futabasha under their Monster Bunko imprint, Shinka no Mi ~ Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei ~ follows Seiichi Hiiragi, a poor young man who is hated by his classmates because they find him simple, fat, and smelly. Seiichi’s luck takes a turn from bad to worse when his class is transferred to another world, but he finds himself alone in the wilderness and being chased by an amorous female gorilla named Saria. The disastrous lives of an unexpected partner turn positive after they ingest the legendary “fruit of evolution”, and an unexpected transformation takes place…
