Valve Banned 40,000 Accounts Committing Matchmaking Violations in Dota 2
In 2021, the Dota 2 community is solid enough to keep this game to the top. But at the start of 2021 this doesn’t seem too good for Dota 2. The average daily player rate is currently the lowest since the initial release and Valve itself hasn’t found a solution to this problem.
On the other hand, they continue to update their policies in terms of matchmaking. Recently they banned 40 thousand accounts that were deemed to have committed Matchmaking violations. However, it is not clear what is called a matchmakind “violation” in Dota 2, which causes the review of this game to even decrease.
If things like this continue, it is not impossible that in the future many players will eventually leave this game.
In Indonesia, the professional scene for Dota 2 is not as busy as it used to be. Many pro players have currently decided to switch to other games that are busy, especially mobile games.
