Watch Dogs Legion to be Released Depending on Next-Gen Console Readiness!

Many games that have been postponed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic are of course a common thing and even have to be tolerated because of the current conditions that are happening. Some of the games that have so far been postponed due to the Corona virus are The Last of Us Part 2.But the good news is, this will not happen for the newest Watch Dogs game, Legion.

This game made by Ubisoft was originally planned to be released in March 2021 and has been announced to be postponed 6 months ago to the end of the year. Approximately at the same time with the release of the next-gen Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles. However, it seems that Ubisoft has prepared further plans for this game.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told The New York Times that their new game release schedule depends on the readiness of the next-gen console 2.

This means that if the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are postponed, Ubisoft will also delay the release of their new game.

The CEO himself expressed this as a form of gratitude to both companies, namely Sony and Microsoft, for allowing their developers to continue using their dev kits.

With this confirmation, it indicates that Ubisoft actually has no problem in the development or release of the game and has chosen to release the game for both Sony and Microsoft’s next-gen consoles.

So for those of you who have been waiting for this legion watch dogs game, it seems you have to be patient until the next-gen console is finally released. Next-gen console itself is scheduled to be released later this year.
