Developed by Gemdrops, a video game development company from Tokyo, Japan. Their party announced that two games virtual reality (VR) based on manga Laid-Back Camp or Yuru Camp creation Afro is under development.

By title YuruCamp Virtual Camp, the game will get two different versions, namely Yurucamp Virtual Camp Motosuko-hen (Motosu Lake Version) and Yurucamp Virtual Camp Fumoto Camp Jō-hen (Fumoto Camp Site Version).

Both games are scheduled for release in winter 2021-2021 on the platform PlayStation 4, Switch, iOS, Android, and PC via Steam.

Other than that, Gemdrops also explained that a VR device is an optional choice, but with a VR device the player can certainly maximize the view in the game. Some of the optimized devices are PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and VR Kit Switch.

Based on the two main characters, Nadeshiko Kagamihara and Rin Shima. Players can enjoy camping at Motosu Lake and Fumoto Camp Site. On Motosu Lake Chapter, the player can become Nadeshiko who spends time with Rin. On the other hand, players can also become Rin to enjoy Fumoto Camp Site Chapter.

Apart from that, both games Yuru Camp will have Japanese audio, with subtitles support for English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean and French. Thus, it has been confirmed that these two games will be available for their global versions.
