GridGames.ID – The tense League round was finally closed by passing 16 teams to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) Season Zero Grand Finals.

Before entering the grand final next month, the League round begins over four weeks, which brings together the 24 best professional teams in the world.

6 teams from Southeast Asia (SEA) have proven their ability to surpass others by claiming positions in the top 16 teams.

Bigetron Red Aliens and Aerowolf Limax from Indonesia will fight for esports glory and win the USD 2 million prize pool at the PMGC 2021 Finals in Dubai.

From 21 to 24 January 2021, the PMGC Grand Finals will be broadcast live worldwide in Dubai with the support of the Dubai Tourism and Marketing Department (Dubai Tourism) and the Dubai Sports Council.

Although not open to the public, this offline event provides teams with an equal arena, preventing adverse events from pinging at the peak of the PUBG Mobile esports program this year.

The PMGC Finals’ prize pool of USD 2 million is also the largest in the history of PUBG Mobile in a single tournament to date.

As directed by His Excellency, Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council (DSC) said, “We are pleased that the Dubai Sports Council will play a role in bringing a group of esports elite and PUBG Mobile players to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship tournament. Hosting the PMGC is further confirmation of Dubai’s reputation as a host of high-end international sporting events, with ultramodern infrastructure and facilities, including luxury hotels and world-renowned tourist attractions. Dubai is also one of the first to start flight operations following the COVID-19 lockdown, and welcomes tourists. The PUBG Mobile Global Championship is an important addition to the roster of international sporting events held in Dubai, including elite international tournaments involving various Olympic and non-Olympic sports, as well as various challenges. “

At the PMGC League round, the Four Angry Men (4AM) finished the League round at the top, thanks to their outstanding performances during intense battles.

This achievement was followed by Bigetron Red Aliens in second place and RRQ Athena in third place.

During the four weeks of Super Weekends, the SEA team put on a spectacular performance and closed the last week with the highest achievement.

The six SEA teams that made it to the final round were Bigetron Red Aliens, RRQ Athena, Secret Jin, POWER888 KPS, Aerowolf Limax and Team Secret from Malaysia.

Meanwhile, in other regions there are 2 teams from South Asia, 1 team from Americas and 4 teams from EMEA.

In the race for the championship trophy, all the top teams will avenge and stop 4AM’s domination, to become the number 1 team in the PMGC Grand Finals.

Looking forward to the final round, Director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports, James Yang explained, “We are very happy to be able to hold the PMGC Finals in Dubai. Having organized the PMGC League online, we wanted to reward our finalists and players with a tournament fit for inspiring champions. We are excited to collaborate with DCTCM and DSC to close this year which is the year of PUBG Mobile esports record-breaking with offline tournaments. Even though this final event is not open to the public offline due to the pandemic situation, we still want to give our best. The PMGC Finals will be our biggest event, demonstrating the scale and power of mobile esports. ”

This international tournament is the culmination of the 2021 PUBG Mobile esports program, which offers an esports structure with a clear path to becoming professional.
