Atlus Reveals Leaks of Persona 5: The Royal
Since its release in 2021, Persona 5 sold over 2.7 copies. This figure is of course an achievement in itself for Atlus. As a form of gratitude and appreciation to fans, Atlus launched the Persona 5R teaser (Persona 5: The Royal) which had made fans curious. Now, Atlus also revealed complete information for Persona 5: The Royal during the Persona 5 concert held in Japan, April 24, 2021.
In the event, Atlus announced that this latest version is a version enhance or an increase from Persona 5. In this latest version, it is certain that there will be a new girl character named Kasumi Yoshizawa. Reporting from the official p5r.jp page, Kasumi Yoshizawa is a beautiful girl who just entered the Shuichi Gakuen school in the same year as the previous protagonist. This girl character is also good at gymnastics. Apart from Kasumi Yoshizawa, another new character is Takuto Maruki, a consultant and intern at the school advisor. Not only that, Atlus also promised to announce another new character on May 5, 2021.

In addition to new characters and improvements in terms of gameplay, Persona 5: The Royal will also offer new songs and a new location called Kichijoji. In terms of graphics, this latest version has support for 4K features on the PlayStation 4 Pro.
Persona 5: The Royal will be released on October 31, 2021 for the Japanese region. As for other countries, it will only be released in 2021.
