Dead Island 2 Planned to Release for PS5 and Xbox Series X

Dead Island 2 has been around for more than six years, and it turns out that now they still intend to bring the light back.

Dambuster Studios, is working on this game for the next generation game console. Although no official confirmation has been given, we got the information through GamesRadar which revealed that Dambuster Studios is looking for several candidates to work on this old zombie game to the next console platform.

Techland was originally marked to develop Dead Island 2 but they decided to prioritize Dying Light which is recognized as one of the popular survival / adventure games, therefore they forced publisher Deep Silver to find a replacement. Yager Development then submitted a sequel in 2014 but that only lasted a while.

The developers of Dead Island 2 have been moving around for so long that a new generation of consoles is about to kick off. This game needs to be something special on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, which is why Deep Silver as the previous developer said not to rush the development of this game.
