PUBG Mobile World League 2021
GridGames.ID – Tencent has officially announced that it will continue to hold the PUBG Mobile World League (PMWL) 2021 Season Zero tournament.
However, it is different from the previous event, this time PMWL will be held independently on line.
Quoting DotEsports, Director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports, James Yang said that it is difficult to hold PMWL regularly offline in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The only solution so that the event can still take place is to change the format.

PMWL 2021 itself is divided into two regional divisions, namely east and west.
Each division will be filled by 20 teams from various countries in Asia, including Indonesia.
The teams that will compete in PMWL 2021 have passed the screening stage of several previous PUBG Mobile tournaments.
Some of them were selected from the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) event, some were from PUBG Mobile Club Opens (PMCO).

Indonesia, represented by two well-known teams, namely Bigetron Red Aliens (BTR RA) and MORPH Team which are in the division east.
BTR RA is the champion of PMPL Indonesia so that it has automatically entered PMWL 2021.
Meanwhile, the MORPH Team successfully passed the screening stage at the PMPL SEA Finals.
Both of them will fight for the best place with 18 teams from other Asian countries.

The plan, PMWL 2021 will begin to be implemented on 10 July.
The total prizes up for grabs also reached $ 850 thousand or around Rp. 12 billion.
