Netflix will present a film adaptation of the Onmyoji game

Onmyoji is an RTS game (real-time strategy) turn based NetEase output, developer from China. This developer is known for his game, Battle Royale Rules of Survival and strategy games Onmyoji.

And after being around for quite a while as a mobile game, a themed strategy game wibu it will get an anime adaptation on Netflix.

The film adaptation of the Onmyoji mobile game made by Netease, entitled “The Yin Yang Master”, will be broadcast globally via Netflix. The Yin Yang Master will be directed by Li Weiran.

This film tells the story of the world being on the brink of war with monsters coming back to retrieve the Scaling Stone. Lord Yin Yang Qing Ming (Chen Kun) ‘s life is in danger and he travels to a different world to prepare himself for the coming attack. On his way, Qing Ming discovered that the key to all calamities was using his mixed human and monster identities.

Directed by Li Weiran, the Onmyoji film stars Chen Kun and Zhou Xun as Qing Ming and Bai Ni. In addition, there are also art director Yoshihito Akatsuka (Kill Bill) and music composer Shigeru Umebayashi (In The Mood For Love).

The Yin Yang Master hit theaters across China this week. Netflix has purchased and acquired the rights to show films on its platform for future global viewers to watch.
