More seriously, the company is also under intense pressure after President Xi Jinping said many children are becoming myopic because of games, and the government is taking steps to ban new games.

As a result of the government’s move, Tencent suffered a loss of $ 1.5 billion because it was unable to launch the game it made.

Finally, to prevent more binding steps from the Chinese government, the giant company in September created a verification system on AoV and made the screen blurry when played too close to the eye.

The new rules for playing games from Tencent include making children aged 12 and under only able to play a maximum of one hour per day, plus games cannot be played at all after 9pm.
