Rather, it is related to the appearance of a video showing the Xbox Series X emitting smoke.

In the video uploaded by the Twitter account @Arek_Adamowicz, you can see thick smoke coming out of the device.

The tweet was viral and has received around 16 thousand likes and 17 thousand Retweets.

Not only on Twitter, the video is also viral on one of the well-known web forums, Reddit.

Some parties responded with jokes, while others considered the Xbox Series X having problems hardware.

After further investigation, it turned out that the cause was not a problem hardware or the like.

Journalist The Verge, Tom Warren revealed that the smoke that appears on the Xbox Series X comes from bursts of e-cigarettes or vape.

In other words, trouble hardware which was echoed earlier, could be sure to be a hoax.

I don’t know the motive behind the distribution of the video, as well as the narrative of the problem hardware that was built.

However, one thing is certain, Microsoft is investigating the video more deeply.

“We take all product safety reports seriously and we are in the process of investigating further,” said a Microsoft statement via The Verge.
