Sony Will Stop Production of PS Vita in Japan

Thank you PlayStation Vita.

Sony will soon stop producing one of its consoles, the PlayStation Vita. As announced last year, Sony is planning to stop producing consoles portable their property in 2021 and it seems that in the near future Sony will soon implement it.

According to the official Japanese PlayStation website, the pages for the PS Vita models PCH-2000 ZA11 (PS Vita Black) and PCH-2000 ZA23 (PS Vita Aqua Blue) read that “shipments are scheduled to end soon”. Though both are the last PS Vita models still being produced in Japan.

It is still unclear when Sony will actually stop producing the first console released in 2011.

Once again, thank you PlayStation Vita!
