GridGames.ID – Hello guys! For you PlayStation fanboys, there is an interesting spectacle, guys!

Reported from the PlayStation blog page, they will host the 2021 Japan Asia PlayStation Partner Awards.

The award event will feature popular PlayStation titles released last year.

Due to the pandemic that has occurred, this event will be officially broadcast via the YouTube PlayStation Japan channel at 17:00 WIB on December 3.

The PlayStation Awards have been held annually since the platform’s birth in 1994.

This year, they will give a new name for the event, the PlayStation Partner Awards.

They will also add a new category that has been long awaited.

At the PlayStation Partner Awads event, they will pay tribute to all the developers who have appeared on the PlayStation platform over the past year.

This event will be hosted by Jon Kabira and Hatsune Matsushima and will honor the many hit titles released throughout 2021.

The following award categories were presented:

1. Grand Award

This award is given to the top three titles developed in the Japan / Asia region with the highest sales between October 2021 and September 2021 in the world.

2. Partner Award

This award is given to titles developed in the Japan / Asia region with top ranking global sales between October 2021 and September 2021.

3. Special Award

This award is given to the following 2 candidates:

  • A title developed by a creator outside the Japan / Asia region and has garnered the highest sales in the Japan / Asia region from October 2021 to September 2021.
  • A title developed in the Japan / Asia region in conjunction with SIE Worldwide Studios and has garnered the highest sales worldwide, from October 2021 to September 2021.
