The results of the game informer interview with the Treyarch studio regarding the Battle Royale mode for the game Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 provides answers about the number of players in one game. Not as much as PUBG and Fortnite, in this Blackout mode there will only be 80 (eighty) players for one game. This is only for beta, regarding the full-game release, many things might change.
According to Treyarch himself, the quality of the game is much more important than the large number of players, so 80 players were chosen. But it is possible that this number will increase when this game is released in full.
