Valorant Coming to Console? This is the Answer by the Riot Games Team
GridGames.ID – Game Valorant was finally officially released on the PC platform by Riot Games on June 2, 2021 yesterday.
Its popularity is increasing because it has a lot of fans.
However, there are still many gamers out there who are wondering about the possibility of when Valorant will be released on console platforms.
Will Valorant come to the PS4 and Xbox One, or even the Nintendo Switch, as other competitive games like Overwatch have?

Reporting from the Gamespot page, Anna Donlon, Executive Producer of Valorant, outlined her team’s plans to bring Valorant to more platforms.
“We are definitely making a prototype now. But, not entirely sure players can experience the same playing when playing on consoles,” said Donlon.
Donlon explains that the essence of the Valorant game is its strong level of competitive integrity.
The game designers are concerned that players feel as if someone has an unfair advantage based on the platform they are playing on.

According to Riot, a potential console version of Valorant needs to experience the same Valorant experience for all players.
“If we feel we can provide this experience on the platform, we will definitely do it,” said Donlon.
Again, Donlon said that he and his team really wanted Valorant to stand up for a certain type of play and a certain kind of experience.

Donlon also explained that some of the designers on his team are very excited to prove Valorant’s potential on consoles.
“But, if we try to add more platforms to play Valorant, it will definitely take more time, aka it will be delayed,” concluded Donlon.
So, there is a possibility that Valorant will later be present for other platforms, huh.
But please be patient, because the Riot Games team also needs time to make it all come true, guys!
