Anime Date a Bullet Introduces Main Staff and Visual Key

Kadokawa Spring’s special livestream program showed the visual key and the main staff of the anime spinoff Date a Bullet on Wednesday.

This spin off anime tells about Tokisaki Kurumi which is not discussed in the Date a Live story.

Synopsis (Date a Live Wiki)

The amnesiac young girl, Empty, who woke up in the neighboring world encounters Tokisaki Kurumi. Led by her, the place she arrived at was the school’s classroom. In order to kill each other, the girls known as semi-Spirits gathered. Now then — Let’s begin our battle (date).

Staff

Here are some of the staff involved in this anime:

  • Director: Jun Nakagawa (High School Fleet Movie, Demi-chan wa Kataritai episode director)
  • Character Design: Naoto Nakamura (Egao no Daika, Mekakucity Actors chief animation director)
  • Studio: GEEKTOYS

The script writing was left to Yuichiro Higashide. Meanwhile, Kurumi as the main character in this anime is still entrusted to Asami Sanada.

Fujimi Shobo began printing this spinoff novel in March 2017, featuring illustrations from NOCO. Kadokawa shipped the sixth volume on March 19.
