CS: GO Again Breaks the Record for the Number of Players Online Simultaneously
Some time ago the CSGO game broke the record for online players at the same time 901,305. Who would have thought that in just a moment, a new record was broken again.
It was only a few weeks after the record for players to be online simultaneously was again broken. This time the number of players online simultaneously totaled 927,977. This number makes CSGO ranked first for the game with the most online players on Steam, above DOTA 2 and PUBG.
This series of new records and positive results seems to show that Valve’s strategy of turning paid games into free to play is the right step to save a game that is almost a dead game to come back to life.
It is possible that the above record will be broken again in the near future. And we certainly also hope that the statistics on the number of players as above can open Valve’s eyes to hold a CSGO tournament on a scale as big as The International.
