EA Finally Announces the Release Date for Season 5 of Apex Legends!
Previously, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment announced that the release date for Season 5 of the battle royale game Apex Legends had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through the official Apex Legends Twitter account, EA has announced that they will release the Season 5 update of Apex Legends on May 12, 2021 on all platforms.

Drop in with your armor locked and prove you’ve got the skills to come out on top! Beginning April 28, the Battle Armor Event will run up until the start of Season 5, which kicks off May 12.

In the announcement, they will also present a closing event for Season 4, titled Battle Armor. Later, there will be two sessions, April 28 – May 2 and May 2 – 12.
At the event, players will see what the new armor in Apex Legends looks like, which is the red armor that has the highest level in the game.
Jason McCord, Design Director of Apex Legends said that Battle Armor is a form of experimentation with the core gameplay of Apex Legends.
