Isekai manga titled Orient gets an anime adaptation

Recently Kodansha made an announcement that one of the isekai action manga titled Orient will have an anime adaptation.

Earlier this year, it seemed that there was a lot of information or news about the number of manga that will get an anime adaptation. Recently Kodansha on January 4, 2021 made the announcement that one of the isekai action manga was titled Orient will get an anime adaptation. In addition to the announcement about the anime adaptation, the first PV for an anime adapted from the manga by Shinobu Ohtaka was also released.

The Orient manga was first launched by Ohtaka in Kodansha’s weekly Shounen magazine since May 2021. In November, the manga’s 11th volume was released.

For those who are curious about the storyline of the anime later, here is a synopsis of Orient:

At the age of 10, Musashi and Kojiro’s best friends sit in silence as Kojiro’s father tells the story of an evil demon who preys on innocent people, and the warriors who defeated them. Practicing swordplay, the two vowed to become the strongest in the world. But as they grew up, Kojiro turned cynical, and Musashi realized that he couldn’t reverse 150 years of demonic rule alone. He was called the prodigy with a pickaxe, and he was almost ready to live the life of a laborer. Yet he couldn’t shake the feeling that he still had the responsibility to act… and, soon enough, the injustice of his world would force his hands…

There is currently no information regarding the anime’s release date. It is possible that this information will be revealed later after the information regarding the cast who will take part has been disclosed.
