Just because of a bug, this Pokemon Sword and Shield player was banned

Recently, the player was on Pokémon Sword and Shield has heard about a bug that could ban players. By disconnecting from the match at the right time (disconnected), players can change the outcome of the battle to avoid defeat. The Pokémon company made this point in a statement today, stating that this abusing player could be banned from playing online and at future live events.

Bug in Pokemon Sword and Shield

To fight online, both players must be connected to the internet. One of the Players found that by disconnecting at a certain time at the end of the battle, they could avoid losing ranks. Other players will not receive a win for the battle, canceling the match. This means that players can abuse this to move up the ranks by never taking a loss from a battle.

Hopefully, this threat of punishment will be enough to deter players. Let’s see if there are still any players out there using this bug for the next 1-2 weeks.
