Luminous Witches Anime Project Adds New Characters
The upcoming anime, the tenth anniversary project in the World Witches series starting with Strike Witches, reveals character designs for Grace Maitland Stewart. Gracie is a retired magician who, after leaving active duty, wants to use the power of music to aid in battle. For that, he founded the Music Squadron.
As with other characters, Gracie’s reference figures exist in wartime history. He is based on the film star Jimmy Stewart, who served in the US Air Force, who later co-founded the Air Force Association.
At this time, there is no information regarding who the voice of Gracie is.
Luminous Witches introduces the LNAF Aviation Magic Band, a squadron of Witches that provides music support. The series will premiere in 2021.
