Sony Announces Full Specifications of PlayStation 5
Sony has launched full specifications for the PlayStation 5, and it is an important evolution from the PlayStation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro.
Here are the full specifications:

- GPU – 10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz (variable frequency)

- Internal storage – Custom 825GB SSD
- IO throughput – 5.5GB / s (Raw), Typical 8-9GB / s (Compressed)

- External storage – USB HDD Support
- Optical drive – 4K UHD Blu-ray Drive
The SSD used is mega, and the main developer Mark Cerny said that over and over again they asked SSDs to be fully hardware for their vision.
