Opening Anime Demon Slayer Wins Triple Platinum

LiSA’s 15th single, “Gurenge” has been very popular since it was first introduced as the opening theme for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The song is also listed as one of the listed ones in the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) online paid song certification. Well, currently the Gurenge song has gone triple platinum with a total download of 750,000.
“Gurenge” was originally released digitally on April 22, 2021, and reached double platinum status with 500 thousand downloads in December. Even though the anime has ended, the song has remained so popular since its release that a recent ranking update has shown that it has been in the top spot for the past two weeks.
