Recap Match, ONIC Esports vs Aura Esports
For the last match on the 1st day of the 1st week of MPL Indonesia Season 5, this will be closed with a revival match of the two hot teams last season, namely the match between Aura Esports vs Onic Esports.
In this match, surprisingly the ONIC Esports team was not strengthened by their two key players, Udil and Sasa. The ONIC line up is filled by, DRIAN, AntiMage, Rasdalima, LordGov, and Psycho. Meanwhile, the Aura team was strengthened by, Phoenix, SusuGajah, Godiva, Darkness, and Clover.
The first match of this game was dominated by aggressive play from the Aura team who could control the early minutes of the game. They outperformed in terms of objectives and the gold difference which had touched the 10k mark, in fact it did not make them succeed in winning the first game. ONIC, who brilliantly was able to make a stunning comeback thanks to the action of AntiMage using its flagship hero Hayabusa, was able to give the yellow hedgehog team the first point.
Entering the second game, the Aura team made a number of changes to their draft pick. In this match, it was almost the same as in the previous match where Aura managed to control the early minutes of the game. But what made the difference was that they didn’t make blunders like the previous game so that they managed to take points in the second match.
In the deciding game as well as closing from the first day, there were so many mistakes made by the Aura Esports team which made them overwhelmed at the beginning of the game, even ONIC Esports managed to outperform the early minutes of the game for the first time in this game. Aura Esports, which was so far behind the ONIC Esports team, was unable to make a comeback, so they had to settle for only getting one point in this match. ONIC Esports, which showed solidarity in their game, also managed to win this third game, which earned them two points.
