PS4 Get Additional Security Features
Sony will be adding a security feature changing two-step authentication to the PlayStation 4 in an upcoming software update. Currently, Sony is indeed safe, but many criticize it for not adding the 2FA option which will certainly help users from hacking cases.
A Twitter account called Wario64, which regularly posts tweets about deals, and leaks in the gaming industry, confirmed that Sony will add a two-step verification feature using the authenticator app as an additional security measure.
Sony will finally be adding two-step verification for authenticator apps for PSN. Better late than never. Will be implemented in the upcoming PS4 FW update pic.twitter.com/akBrLGt0LO

The tweet mentions that this feature will come with an upcoming update. Further, it explains that the associated authenticator app can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.
Well, this is certainly a good move from Sony. 2FA is currently a mandatory feature for account security. Steam or Epic Games have also implemented this feature for a long time.
