Quite a lot of Playstation 5 Problems in the Initial Batch

Problems with the PlayStation 5 controller cannot be connected

Sony has released the Playstation 5 on November 12, 2021. However, a week after the release, many Playstation 5 problems were encountered.

As usual, console devices in early production experienced many problems, including Sony. Usually, Sony will provide additional updates and fix this problem in the next production.

A number of users have encountered problems when using the PS5 that did not stem from user error. It seems that there is indeed a bug or error that has been missed by Sony’s checking.

Of course this is very annoying for console players who want to comfortably play the game. But don’t worry, friend, here we will review a list of Playstation 5 problems and ways to solve them.

1. Unable to connect to the PlayStation Network

Some PS5 users cannot connect to or log in to their PlayStation Network (PSN) accounts. Sony hasn’t provided an official solution, but some users can solve it by checking the PSN Status on the official website or checking the quality of the internet connection on the home router.

2. PS5 crashes while enabling rest mode

PS5 also has a rest mode like PS4, but when entering this mode the console crashes or hangs. Unfortunately Sony has not provided a solution to this complaint.

The only way is to turn off the rest mode. The trick is to enter Settings then Power Saving. Then select Set Time Until PS5 Enters Rest Mode and disable rest mode by selecting Disable Rest Mode

3. Games and apps are stuck in the download queue

Many users of the digital version of the PlayStation 5 have complained about this. Even those who are not downloading the game get a download queue notification.

The solution is to do a factory reset. But if it still happens the player has to factory reset repeatedly.

4. Loud buzzing sound

Many PlayStation 5 players have experienced this. At first the players thought this was just a problem with the Playstation disc drive. But it turns out that the digital version that uses Solid Drive also experiences it.

There has been no confirmation of a solution from Sony for this problem.

5. Connectivity problems Dual sense controller

during initial setup, players must connect the DualSense controller to the PS5 console, pair it, and download the update.

However some players experienced connectivity issues so they couldn’t connect the PS5 controller during the update.

6. PS4 games cannot be played on PS5

Sony has confirmed that many PlayStation 4 games can still be played on the PlayStation 5. However, some users have found a notification that the game cannot be played and must be purchased first.

The solution, go to the User and Accounts section, scroll to find the Other menu, then in the menu select Restore Licenses so that PS4 games can be played on PS5.

How about it, friend, if you are interested in buying a console device, it would be nice to wait until all problems are resolved first.
