Release of Wasteland 3 Postponed to August

The release of Wasteland 3 has been postponed to August 28, as inXile developers face “new challenges” working from home amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In a picture posted to Twitter , inXile studio head Brian Fargo explains the staff started working from home “a few weeks ago,” and the challenges of operating in that new environment led to delays.
The three additional months will be spent perfecting the beta, as well as “generalizations and enhancements, and ensuring we have a great collaborative experience,” according to Fargo.
Wasteland 3 was announced in 2016 alongside the Fig-host crowdfunding campaign, which was completed in just three days. During development time, inXile was recognized by Microsoft, although Wasteland 3 will still be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
