The Medium, a horror game that will support 4K resolution

At the event Inside Xbox yesterday, they showed a new horror game called The Medium. Interestingly, this new game is supported with 4K resolution. The game was first announced in early 2021, but many people don’t get a really good first look when they watch the trailer.

There are some surprising things about this game, which will certainly make a lot of gamers curious. The first reason is Akira Yamaoka, as the music composer for the Silent Hill game who will be involved in this project.

The Medium set in a hotel that Marianne visits in search of answers to what has always haunted her. It happened in Krakow, Poland during the 80’s. Tim Bloober CEO Piotr Babieno also elaborated on the same story in a press release. “When you try to change your point of view, you will find some irregularities and oddities from the previous point of view. “Marianne’s strength as a medium will be the main aspect in solving this mystery.

Supporting 4K resolution and having a feature without delay is a new innovation in game development, maybe this feature can be an example for games on future platforms.
