The next Samsung Exynos flagship will use a GPU from AMD

The news that Samsung has been working with AMD has been around for a long time, but there has been no result of this collaboration. On Tuesday 12 January 2021 Samsung reiterates that its partnership with AMD will be presented at the next generation Exynos with RDNA-based AMD GPUs. During the launch of the Exynos 2100, Dr. Inyup Kang, director of the LSI division at Samsung, confirmed these ambitious plans for the future.
Samsung and AMD initially announced a partnership in August 2021. Samsung promised to bring AMD Radeon graphics technology to the Exynos SoC. When this news was initially announced, many had predicted that this partnership would pay off sometime in 2022, and comments Dr. Kang seems to corroborate the report.
Dr. Inyup Kang said during the event that Samsung is working with AMD to produce a “next generation mobile GPU” which will be launched in a “next flagship” product.
It is not clear whether this GPU will be present at the “next Flagship” or the “Next Flagship Chipset”. Will the GPU be introduced with the Galaxy Note 21, and the Galaxy Z Fold 3? Or is it possible that this GPU will be present in the flagship chipset that will be launched next year?
However, based on rumors last year that the flagship chipset with AMD graphics will not be launched by Samsung until 2022. If so, maybe you should wait until the Galaxy S22.
