Some items are easier to find than others, but all of them are definitely worth searching for. One such rare item is the Wraith Knife, also known as the Wraith Kunai.

Not only did the knife look amazing, but it was an item almost every major Wraith hand would want to acquire. This article will show you everything about the Wraith Knife and how you can get one.

What is the Wraith Knife?

The Wraith Knife is one of the most beautiful melee weapon skins for the Wraith master. Since this knife is basically just a cosmetic item, it doesn’t affect gameplay once equipped.

In other words, the Wraith Knife did the same damage as an ordinary knife. Its only purpose is to make ordinary knives look cooler. Truth be told, this knife skin completely completes its purpose. You can see for yourself in the image below.

How to Get a Wraith Knife?

Obtaining the Wraith Blade was not an easy task to complete. According to Respawn, the company behind Apex Legends, the chances of unlocking the Wraith Knife are less than 1%.

Since the Wraith Knife is part of the Heirloom set, you can only unlock it by opening the Apex Pack. If you’re lucky and your Apex Pack contains a Wraith Knife, you’ll also receive two other Heirlooms on the side. Additional heirlooms are Banner Pose and Quip Intro.

To put things in perspective, for every 500 Apex Packs you open, only one of them can contain a Heirloom set.

With that in mind, the only way to unlock the Wraith Knife skin is to open as many Apex Packs as possible and hope for the best. Your chances are slim if you don’t want to spend money on the Apex Pack. The following sections will show you why.

How do I get the Apex Package?

Apex packages are given as prizes for reaching new levels in Apex Legends. From level 1 to 100, you can get a total of 45 Apex Packs.

How often you get Apex packs depends on your level:

a) Level 1 to 20: One pack per level

b) Levels 23 to 45: One pack in each of the two levels

c) Level 50 to 100: One pack in every five levels

The probability of receiving a rare item was 100%, while the probability of receiving an epic and legendary item was 24.8% and 7.4%, respectively.

As you can see, getting the free Apex Packs is a very slow process and the chances of getting the Wraith Knife actually decrease as you level up. That brings us to the second way of getting the Apex Packs, which is to buy them online.

NOTE: The Apex Pack offers only cosmetic items. That means that none of the items you receive in a single pack can increase your in-game stats and give you an edge over other players.

Is the Wraith Knife Worth Buying the Apex Pack?

A simple calculation will answer if you buy the Apex Pack worth this ultra-rare skin. This is what we know so far.

You’ll need 500 Apex Packs to expect to find the Heirloom set. The Heirloom kit contains the Wraith Knife skin you were looking for. For 500 Apex Packs, you need 50,000 Apex Coins.

Since the largest coin pack you can buy has 11,500 coins (costs $ 100), you’ll need to buy four of them. After that, you need to buy a pack of 4,350 coins ($ 35) to get a total of 50,000 Apex Coins.

When you add up expenses together, the total amount you have to pay for 50,000 Apex Coins is $ 435.

That means that you have to pay $ 435 and the Wraith Knife still won’t be guaranteed. You may or may not find it in one of those Apex Packages.

As we have already mentioned, Wraith Knife makes no difference in the game and doesn’t add to your stats. Hence, spending all that money on cosmetic skin doesn’t seem worth it, but the decision is entirely up to you.
