Xbox One X and Xbox One S Consoles Officially Discontinued!

Microsoft is currently preparing to launch its newest next-gen console, the Xbox Series X. Ahead of the release of this console, Microsoft recently confirmed that they will stop production of the Xbox One and Xbox One S.

Through IGN, Microsoft has officially confirmed that two of their current-gen console releases Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition will no longer be produced. Microsoft argues that this is because Microsoft currently needs to focus on developing the next-gen Xbox Series X console.

“With the steps we are taking with the Xbox Series X, we have decided to stop production of the Xbox One X and Xbox One S,” said Microsoft.

As information, the Xbox One itself was launched right in 2017, which at that time brought new innovations from the previous console series, as well as the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition which was released in 2021 with the innovation of a discless gaming console.

Microsoft itself plans to hold an Xbox event on July 23, 2021, later they will give update of projects as well as new details regarding Xbox Series X.
