Goks! Pokemon Go Successfully Reaches 14.3 Trillion In 2021

Reported by Sensor Tower, the title of this Pokemon-themed game is still very popular, so they managed to make a profit of USD1 billion (equivalent to Rp.14.3 trillion).

This game that really needs a location or GPS feature was first launched in July 2021.

In that year, Pokemon Go managed to earn more than USD 832 million (equivalent to Rp. 11.9 trillion).

Interestingly, 2021 is a year where Niantic can smile widely because it represents its best year, even though it is still 10 months old.

Players around the world spent 11% more playing time than last year, and 30% more than the first 10 months of 2021.

Their success came as downloads and income from players increased sharply during the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing lockdown.

The United States is still the most profitable market, reaching USD1.5 billion or 36.3% of total revenue.
