Monster Hunter Rise Receives Demo And Trailer Reveal New Monster

A demo for Monster Hunter Rise, exclusive to Nintendo Switch, will be released Friday, January 8, 2021. Capcom went live to announce it in a live broadcast this morning and also revealed details about the free demo. Capcom is showing off new monsters and new gameplay features.

On January 7th yesterday, capcom also gave new trailer which simply presents a lot of important information related to this game. One of them is the existence of new and old monsters that Capcom has brought back in another location. As well as unique mechanics that players have never encountered in the previous Monster Hunter game.

Capcom shows off one of the game’s locations. Monster Hunter Rise will take players to a new area called Frostisland. Ice location with underground caverns and frozen trails. Frost island is home to several new monsters, as well as some that never made it to Monster Hunter: World.

For new monsters, Capcom has officially introduced existence Goss Harag. In the Monster Hunter Rise demo, this monster is a monster in the form of a bear that has the ability to spit ice and create an ice sword as a weapon.

Meanwhile, monsters from the old series will also be present. As Lagombi and Great Baggi (from the Monster Hunter 3 series), to the Iconic Flying Wyvern duo Barioth and Tigrex which yesterday enlivened Iceborne’s expansion. Do not stop there, two favorite monsters Khezu (from the first Monster Hunter series) and Mizutsune (from the Monster Hunter Generations series) are also confirmed to be here.

Capcom also introduced a new play mechanic called Wyvern Riding. Where players can now not only ride monsters, but also control them at once. You can also make controlled monsters use their abilities to attack other monsters that you want to target.
