NetEase Releases Latest Asymmetric 1v4 Game, Tom and Jerry: Chase
GridGames.ID – It seems like video games with asymmetrical mechanisms are currently very popular.
NetEase sees this as an opportunity to release a new game, Tom and Jerry: Chase.
The game is an upcoming 1v4 asymmetric multiplayer game based on the popular cartoon, Tom and Jerry.

The game is currently undergoing a second test in Malaysia and Indonesia after receiving several bug fixes and improved connection latency.
Tom and Jerry: Chase has proven to be very successful as it has garnered over 100 million pre-registrations in China.
Chinese games publisher NetEase launched a Tom and Jerry mobile game in China around May last year.
The core gameplay is similar to the 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer style found in Dead by Daylight.

At that time, Tom and Jerry: Chase did not yet have an English version available, but the currently available closed-beta stage has added to the language.
So there is a possibility that in the near future the game will also be present in a global version.

Like other asymmetric games, namely Dead by Daylight, Identity 5 and so on, this game will make you play the character of Tom or Jerry.
If you choose to be Jerry, you will be joined by three other mice who are rushing to collect cheese while avoiding the cat, Tom.
It’s different if you prefer to be Tom, then you will find or catch the four mice as your goal.

This close-beta test will introduce the monetization side of the game, which allows players to buy or collect several items.
These items include Diamond, Gold Pass, and Skin that can make your character look different.
Tom and Jerry: Chase is now available in close-beta on Google Play Malaysia and Indonesia.
