Warzone Does Not Require PlayStation Plus Premium

Call of Duty: Warzone on PS4 will not require an active PS Plus subscription to play this latest battle royale game. However, those playing on the Xbox One must have an Xbox Live Gold subscription for now.

As confirmed by Activision, explained that PlayStation Plus is not required to download and play Warzone, although those with active subscriptions will be able to download the exclusive Warzone Combat Pack on the PlayStation Store.

However, the situation does not extend to Xbox players, as those on the Microsoft platform will need an active Xbox Live Gold subscription and no dlc Package like the PlayStation platform.

Warzone is a Call of Duty game with a new battle royale genre related to Modern Warfare. Like the Black Ops 4 Blackout mode, it features a large map consisting of classic COD multiplayer maps and the original area, and the shooting and combat features of the ‘parent’ game. This free DLC for Modern Warfare is also available as a free game, too. It will go live to Modern Warfare players at 11:00 AM ET / 8:00 PM PT / 3:00 PM UK.
