Bad News, Crossfire Server Korea will be closed soon

Bad News, Crossfire Server Korea will be closed soon. Maybe some of you still remember or maybe still play the Crossfire game. FPS games that were busy at this time were side by side with popular FPS games such as Point Blank or CSO.

The Indonesian server itself has stopped operating since 2021 and is back with the title Crossfire Next Generation. However, in their home country, South Korea, the Crossfire servers are still operating today.

Unfortunately in Korea, the Crossfire server will also be closed in the near future. Crossfire itself was originally released by the publisher Neowis until 2013 was taken over by Smilegate. This game is actually quite successful, which brought Smilegate, which was initially on the verge of bankruptcy, until it regained success. Even the founder Kwon Hyuk-bin made it into the ranks of the 8th richest version Forbes.

Smilegate may take steps to shut down the Korean server so that it can focus more on working on Crossfire spinoffs, such as CrossfireX for the Xbox One and Crossfire ZERO consoles which are currently entering the pre-register stage.

The South Korea Crossfire server closure is scheduled to fall on March 3, 2021.
