Simply “Simp“Has a meaning. On Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter, most people use them to express something exaggerated, as well as to make their friends or community laugh. But recently the word has begun to turn into a mockery of men who are too obsessed and lustful to seek women’s attention.

While trying to argue about the issue, Twitch has refused to elaborate on what the written response looks like, they claim that:

“Community guidelines prohibit harassment, and in part we reject emotes designed to harass or demean others.”
“While this behavior is understandable, the targeting and deletion of the whole word seems drastic.” Phrases about simp, although somewhat controversial.

For those of you who have never heard the term simp, don’t feel sad. The word has a history and was used frequently in the 90s, but it has only recently been re-popularized and included in memes.
