Epic Games Participates in Withdrawal from GDC 2021 due to Corona Virus!

Epic Games withdraws from GDC 2021 because of the corona virus

Recently it was known that the impact of the Corona Virus made several game developers such as EA to Kojima Productions and currently Epic Games also withdrew from the Game Developer’s Conference (GDC) 2021 Event which was held in San Francisco due to fear of the Corona Virus.

In a post Unreal Engine Official Twitter Account announced that They are very excited to participate in GDC 2021. Unfortunately, the uncertainty surrounding health issues has made it impossible to send our employees.

Here at Epic we were excited about participating in GDC 2021. Regrettably, uncertainty around health concerns has made it unviable to send our employees, and so we have made the difficult decision to withdraw attendance.

So it can be concluded that the Team From Epic Game and UnrealEngine are worried about the Corona Virus.

So, until this news is written, there is no information yet whether GDC 2021 will continue or be postponed for a while. So we just wait for the next news, guys!
