Fruits Basket The Final Reveals Release Date

The official website for the Fruits Basket anime revealed on Friday that the anime’s final season, titled Fruits Basket the Final, will premiere in April. The site also revealed a new teaser visual. The slogan in the visual below reads, “Don’t leave me.”

The anime’s first season premiered in Japan in April 2021 and ran for 25 episodes. For streaming, you can watch on Funimation and Crunchyroll.

Funimation is streaming an English dub for the event, after stopping production of its English simuldub in March due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Crunchyroll also aired the series as it aired.

After the family tragedy that befell him. A brave high school girl, Tohru Honda, decided to live independently and moved to live in his tent. Unfortunately, he builds his new home on the private land belonging to the mysterious Sohma clan, and it doesn’t take long for his secret to be discovered by the owner of the land. However, when Tohru learned that the family offered him to live with him, Sohma’s family had their own secret. When touched by the opposite sex, they will turn into an animal according to the Chinese zodiac.
The two anime series that aired in 2021 and 2021 adapted directly from the manga Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya. This adaptation has a completely new Japanese cast and staff from the previous version, per Takaya’s request. The anime will cover the entire manga story.
