Indonesian Game Developer Releases New Game What Comes After

A developer from Indonesia, Fahmitsu alias Fahmi, is a famous game maker, namely Coffee Talk. This game is quite famous because of the gameplay and the theme of the coffee cafe game which is very unique. It’s no wonder this game is getting high sales on Steam. This time Fahmitsu released his newest game, entitled What Comes After. This new game features Fahmitsu’s signature introspective story style.
This game tells the story of Vivi, a woman who must learn how to love herself while on a train to the afterlife.
When Vivi was about to go home by train, she fell asleep until the train was emptied. But when he woke up the train he was riding turned into a train that took those who had died to the afterlife. The problem was, even though he had contemplated suicide, he was still alive and “stranded” on the train. Fortunately, the train “conductor” wanted to drive him back to the real world, but after he was done driving the passengers to the train afterlife.
In fact, What Comes After has no gameplay at all. You just walk and talk to all the characters you meet. The presentation is also quite simple, with the majority of the characters expressionless and musicless except at the end. So the only aspect that can be judged is the story.
You can even finish this game quite quickly in a duration of approximately one to two hours. But during that duration you will be presented with an interesting story about life and death.
Reporting from Kotakgame.com Fahmitsu in collaboration with Rolling Glory Jam, the game maker Rage in Peace as the publisher of this game. Interestingly, the trailer for What Comes After comes with a soundtrack for a song made by an Indonesian band, L’Alphalpha, entitled Pulang Kembali.
